The race is on! Not only for the candidates but also for the news agencies to provide their audiences with the best political news coverage. For this widget, CBS decided to augment their own political content by showing headlines from other reputable political news sources.

What’s more is they needed the headlines specific to each candidate. The way we were able to achieve this was through the use of our whitelisted search capabilities, which allowed CBS to handpick the sources of content and to search across those sources for only the articles that pertain to each candidate. So the widget always shows the latest headlines from the Washington Post, Boston.com and others.
